Ive started a new job where im litrally standing all day. Ive been wearing hosiery for years now and at times noticed how much better I feel after a day wearing 40 or 70 den hosiery. Ive mainly been a stockings and supender belt guy but with my new job ive been experimentng with 20 40 and 70 den pantyhose and honestly they make my days a lot easier on my feet all day.
Cheers

I had a career as a flight attendant, and a lot of my colleagues routinely wore minimum 40 denier pantyhose. Some were doctor prescribed support hosiery. Those ones looked a lot more rugged and, I feel, less attractive on the leg. Shades were limited in support hose, too.
Flight attendants and frequent flyers can be more prone to leg issues like deep vein thrombosis and will often wear a more constrictive hose as a preventative measure.
Standing or sitting for extended periods is not good for lower leg circulation, and that's especially true as one gets older. It can be a good choice to wear something of light support before before any medical issue begin to present themselves. If you notice your ankles starting to look a bit bloated at the end of the day, you may already be experiencing circulation issues. It would be wise to go get checked out by a doctor. It could be any number of things causing it.
