Halloween experiences

  • Has Halloween been an opportunity for you to wear hosiery?  Did you first get the chance to wear during this day?  Did it give you an excuse to wear when otherwise you would have been too nervous to wear?  Did you notice someone wearing that grabbed your attention?

  • @SheerMark LoL...not in my case.  I'm a woman!  About the only kind of hosiery it might give me the opportunity to exploit might be if a costume called for black fishnets, or some other kind of non-traditional pantyhose.  Apart from that, I pretty much wear pantyhose 7 days a week, 365 as a wardrobe staple.  FWIW, I hate fishnets because they just look trashy or vampy.  My 1970s early 80s punk rocker days are long behind me!  But some of the music is still fun to hear.

  • Of course you're a woman Carrie.  Maybe it was a chance for some females to wear when otherwise their parents might not have approved.  Maybe it was a first time and you liked the experience-how they felt, how they made your legs look, the attention you received.

I never wore hosiery on Halloween.  Although it gave me my first opportunity to buy a costume with hosiery which took away some of the nervousness.  I also went to a Hooters once and asked if they sell uniforms.  The nice waitress actually sold me the shorts and tank.

I was always aware of when males wore on this day.  Obviously, seeing a boy in hosiery wasn't a common sight but for someone curious like myself I definitely noticed.  I remember one guy who didn't wear his night costume during the day.  However, when I saw him at night he was wearing a cat suit with leotard and black tights.  It made me wonder if he was too embarrassed to wear at school but secretly enjoyed wearing.  I remember my neighbors who dressed as superheroes.  One wore blue hose the other red.  They continued to wear their costumes beyond Halloween which I found intriguing.  I would play at their house and was captivated that they could freely wear their costumes.  In high school, we had a Halloween party and one of the guys wore a cheerleaders uniform with suntan hosiery.

Seeing guys in hosiery definitely stood out just because it is not common.  However, there is nothing like seeing a beautiful woman who wears a sexy costume and accentuates their legs in hosiery.

And Carrie, punk rock was/is such a fun genre of music...one of my favorites for so many years!
