Any particular item of clothing?

  • I was wondering if you have a certain item/s of clothing you really enjoy pairing with pantyhose, on you or others?  Something that you look forward to wearing or worn by others.  Perhaps something that looks amazing visually or something that has a tactile experience that you enjoy on your body.  Maybe it is something made of silk, satin, or cotton.  Maybe it is a skirt, dress, pair of pajamas, a uniform or a costume.

  • I agree I also enjoy a pair of heels with my hose

  • I remember someone asking if clothes improve the look of a body.  I guess if they didn't the fashion industry wouldn't be nearly the size it is today.  Clothes are more than functional, they can elicit certain feelings, classify you, sexualize you, embolden you, etc.  A female in a business outfit, an aerobics instructor, a lady in a sexy gown, a traditional office secretary, a professional cheerleader all dress in ways that have that sexual appeal to me.

It is hard for me to pinpoint one specific item that I find that looks stunning and feels amazing when paired with pantyhose.  Satin, seems to be a complimentary fabric to pantyhose, it has a glamorous finish and a smooth texture.  A lot of loungewear and sleepwear are made of this fabric, along with women's blouses.  For men, the selection is limited but I can see how it is enjoable to pair a satin item with pantyhose.  It is kind of like a tactile adventure.  I have tried it and do like the interaction between the two fabrics.  The way it drapes over the body, the smoothness, the elegant shine.  I think a satin robe is one item that really looks and feels sensual with pantyhose.

A leotard is a very sexy item that looks stunning on women.  There are tank, short sleeve, long sleeve, turtleneck.  When a female in great shape slips into a pair of pantyhose then adds a leotard that clings to her body it is a beautiful look.  It was also a fashion craze back in the '80's.  One has to be confident with their body to pull off the look but when they do, it is outstanding.  When I was around thirteen I found an opportunity to try a dark blue long sleeve leotard with legwear.  In privacy, I put on the legwear then worked into the leotard.  I really enjoyed the snug fit and the coverage on my body.  Even today I enjoy the pantyhose/leotard combination...the look of sheer hosiery under a body hugging tank leotard is both visually and tactilely pleasing.

A lady in a pencil skirt, pantyhose and heels really gets my attention.  When the skirt forms to her body and accents her curves it is delightful.  The skirt has that feminine look.  It pairs exceptionally well with pantyhose and stilettos.  I do also like shorter skirts but I prefer when skirts are plain with no unique features.  A tight skirt does look great as long as it sculpts the body.  A slip, although not a skirt but definitely looks like a skirt is another item that feels nice against the body and over pantyhose.  So, I would definitely include a skirt as an item that I enjoy with pantyhose.  As far as trying the combination myself, I have.  I figured it is a great look on women so why not satisfy that curiosity.  Finding the right size took some attempts.  Going to a department store, looking for something that I liked, and then going into the men's dressing rooms to see if it fit was part of the adventure.  And then the scary part of taking the item to the counter for purchase.  There was also the excitement of owning the skirt on my own and seeing what it was going to be like wearing it with pantyhose.  What I did like was the lining on the inside of the skirt that felt smooth to the touch.  Being a male, I felt a bit conflicted as I assembled the skirt, pantyhose and a pair of stilettos.  I didn't aspire to look like a female or want to be a female I just simply wanted to try a skirt with pantyhose.  So, I put the items together on my bed.  I chose a suntan/brownish pair of pantyhose that I thought would look nice paired with the black skirt and heels.  I carefully slid the pantyhose up my legs and around my waist making sure they were in proper position.  I grabbed the skirt. It had a zipper inthe back for ease of access.  I worked my feet through the opening and pulled them up my legs.  The skirt lining felt nice and silky against my legs as I worked the skirt up to my waist.  I reached around the back and pulled up the zipper feeling the cinch.  I took the patent stiletto heels and placed them over my feet.  Wow, here I was transformed from the waist down.  An interesting look indeed, this was something you only find that women wear, so to see my male physique in this outfit was a bit strange.  I did like how things came together, the skirt looked professional, my legs looked classy and my feet looked elegant.  I also enjoyed the feel.  When I got up to walk, the skirt was airy and the lining slid comfortably over the pantyhose.  To me it was a fun and new experience and that is why I would add skirt as an item I like to pair with pantyhose.

  • Any velvety shorts

  • The tank leotard and sheer pantyhose, a very sexy look!

  • @SheerMark Wow, Mark, you sure do put a lot of thought, detail, and care into your posts!  I like that.

I could reply at length, but will contain myself for now.

You guys do have a very limited wardrobe choice compared to women. The possibilities and combinations available to women is staggering in scope - I guess that's why we end up with drawers and wardrobes stuffed to bursting with clothes, not to mention accessories, shoes, makeup, and of course, for some of us, hosiery.  Without a doubt, for me the physical sensation of wearing certain items of clothing is an important part of what I choose.  I too love the sensation of a cool, smooth slippery lining of a tight fitting dress. I love the feel of leggings or yoga pants, both with or without tights worn underneath. The experience of wearing high quality, correctly fitting tights - well, what can I say that hasn't already been said?  For me, the sensation became an obsession many years ago. It electrifies my senses. I am aware or the tights every minute I am wearing them.

Leotards - yes, and one-piece swimsuits - they can look great on a toned body, and I guess they can feel good too.  I don't have one currently.  I do have a Wolford Odessa thong type sleeveless body suit, bought a long time ago, and that is nicely sculpting, and very pleasant to wear.

It has been discussed here before, notably by Carrie, but it is such a shame that few females wear feminine outfits these days.  When I started at my first place of work long, long ago, I was fresh from school and accustomed to wearing a skirt and tights each day.  This I continued to do most days. The other young women in the office all wore dresses, or skirt and top, and all wore tights - usually a light tan or nude tone, but sometimes grey. These days, on my thrice weekly commute by train, I see few women wearing skirts or dresses or heels. Sometimes I'll see one or two in a skirt, usually combined with opaque or semi opaque black tights. Trousers, or leggings abound. i'm sad that so many women choose to relinquish the joys of femininity.

  • Janine, you are correct about males having a limited wardrobe compared to women.  Fashion oriented women and women in general definitely have way more clothes and accessories.  Just look at the typical female closet compared to the male closet, just look at your department store sections, your advertisement.

I am pretty simple with my wardrobe like the typical male.  When I first wore pantyhose, it was really just about the pantyhose although the leotard did spark my curiosity and was something I wanted to experience as well.  Over time other female items also started to get my attention,  not to mimic a female but to see how the item would pair with pantyhose.  Some males do like taking on a female persona but for me, it was a curiosity.  What would a silky slip feel like against pantyhose,  how would a pencil skirt look, what would it be like to wear a particular costume.  Women have many more options and materials to experience in their wardrobe.  Trying certain clothing items, especially female articles seemed exciting only if they were paired with pantyhose, otherwise I didn't have much interest.  A slip has a nice texture, it feels soft and smooth but without wearing pantyhose, I didn't feel a need wearing one.  I've never worn a bra nor have any interest in putting one on but lay out a pencil skirt, stilettos and pantyhose and you have my interest.  The sensation of wearing silky pantyhose, adding a skirt with a satin lining and sliding my feet into a pair of stilettos is something that really gets my attention but remove the pantyhose and I have lost a lot of interest.

Janine, I like how you say wearing electrifies your senses and how you are aware when you are wearing.  I decided at one point if I wanted a similar experience I needed to shave my legs.  I had shaved before when I was a high school swimmer and remembered the wonderful feel of smooth legs and the heightened sensation.  Sure enough, the removal of my leg hair added to the pleasent feel and look of wearing pantyhose.

Also, a couple of other clothing items I like when paired with pantyhose are satiny shorts runners typically wear.  I like the silky texture and how they feel when they glide up over your legs. The short style also showcases the legs perfectly.  And a big favorite of mine is the robe.  I have bought plenty over the years from satin, to plush, to soft fabric and also in different lengths and colors.  The robe has that uniqueness of looking casual but also stylish.  I think women look fantastic when lounging around in a short robe and pantyhose.  I also enjoy the sensation of sliding into a pair of pantyhose and then wrapping my body in a soft, comforting robe.
