Thank you to the Shapings team for getting the order processed and shipped out quickly! Ordered early Monday, and tracking says it's scheduled to be delivered today, Tuesday! Definitely the quickest international shipment I've had. Next day for international shipments thousands of miles away is amazing!
However, once it landed in my city, I unfortunately found out that I had to pay brokerage and government fees on the package despite no mention of it prior in the tracking. Apparently the de minimus rule for declared values under $800 not having to pay duties/fees is no more as of August 29, 2025 for customers in the US. Total fee paid to UPS was just under $45 ($14 brokerage fee plus government fee). Order was close to $200, so it tacked on roughly 22.5%. A bit of a sour taste, but I'm sure I'll still be satisfied with my purchase.
Anyways, I bought 15 items -- primarily thigh highs -- to compare and contrast. Primarily interested in the different feel across different brands. I have tried various other brands in the past such as a Cecilia de Rafael , Hanes, Leggs, Donna Karan, Wolford, etc. The ones in the order are all new to me.
