Sheer Desires with sheath

  • Excited to see the new Sheer Desires offerings with sheath, any first hand feedback?  Curious how the sheath feels on the member and overall fit.

  • Mine arrive tomorrow. I'll let you know!

  • I tried 3 different pairs. The Atlas 10 in grey were the first ones. Seems to be really heavy and almost opaque fibre. They feel more like a support hose.  I like sheet nylon so not a fan of these. Maybe for colder weather.   The second pair were Denali 5 in black. I'm 5'11" and 195 lbs. They fit way smaller than advertised and tore before I could even get them on all the way. Not happy. The 3rd pair were the Denali plus. They seem to fit ok. The jury is still out on the fabric. And the price point is pretty steep.  We'll see how durable they are. So 1 for 3 on the approval scale.

  • @HJ I had tried these on myself in order to guage the size range and yarn characteristics.   The Denali 5 regular did fit my 36" inseam legs with a 34" waist perfectly and at 6'5", 200lbs I had no issue with the fit being too small.   I use hosiery gloves to put them on and make sure that my toes and heels are very smooth.   The yarn has a high fibre content and will cling quite closely so I recommend using rubber gloves after you put them on to position them safely onto your legs without the risk of breaking the yarn with your fingernails.

As for the Denali 5 Plus, the price is reflective of the very high lycra content (52%) as lycra is the much more expensive than nylon.  The high lycra content makes for exceptional stretch and can fit very large legs and waists.    Being 5'11" and 195, you should only need the regular Denali.

I can certainly post a photo of them on me to demonstrate the fit.

  • @Robert Safko perhaps these were mistakenly packaged. There's no way they'd fit me. Ridiculously tight. The Denali plus, while fitting much better, didn't last more than 1 hour of wear before they had a hole in them. I'll stick with CdR.
