  I love that classic old school look in them, too.  I wear the Cromye 20 denier Stockings by Elly and love them for the same visual reasons.  I don't like to wear anything heavier than 20 denier, but I also have two pairs of Elly's Calza Serena which are 30 denier.  They're OK but I prefer the Cromye 20s for stockings.
