Last weekend, on the Saturday night specifically, here in The North, we have a tradtion called Hockey Night in Canada. It goes back more than half a century, and is carried on today by the faithful and hopeful who fantically support their favourite NHL hockey teams.
The fans buy all sorts of NHL licensed gear but the most popular items are usually ball caps and team jerseys. It's fun to wear your team's jersey and go out to a local pub or sports bar in it and enjoy the games among others of similar fervour for their respective teams. It's particularly interesting when the game is between 2 local or historic rivals where you'll find a lot of opposing supporting fans at the same bar. Such traditional rivals would be Montreal and Toronto, as well as Calgary and Edmonton, which they call "The Battle of Alberta".
Fans will often try to out do each other in their show of dedication to their respective causes. That just makes it even more entertaining. I'm not a hard core fan by any means, but I do try to represent and cheer on the local guys when one of these classic games shows up on the schedule.
Last Saturday I paired my jersey with a pretty short black mini skirt and some sexy sheer black Cecelia de Rafael VIDRIO pantyhose, and of course this gorgeous pair of black stiletto heels. I look at it as bringing a little class and sex appeal to an otherwise basic jersey. Sometimes, dressing up my jersey like that and coming to show my support results in a few free beers coming my way from another fan who appreciates my effort.

There isn't a very clear view of the details of the high heels but for anyone who is interested, they are made by Jessica Simpson. They have a 4 inch stiletto heel and the insides or instep where the arch of your foot is in each shoe is cut away, and open. That's known as a half d'orsay style. I also own them in bright red but felt the black was a better look. With the jersey and all, they would have brought too much RED to the look. And wearing the black ones instead gave me a monochromic look from the hem of the jersey down with the hosiery I decided to wear.

My goodness your photos are exceptional. I'm from Edmonton and I hate the Flames(hahaha). Gotta admit they're a hell of a hockey club and they are positioned to do a lot of damage in the playoffs. I'm going to take the same photos of my wife in an Oiler Jersey and a pair of Shapings pantyhose. I order all the time from Shapings for my wife. I'll order the brand that you're wearing. I kind of suck at selfies...definitely not a selfie queen. But truth be told...after I left my flying career at AC, I worked as a professional photographer for a dozen years. I used to shoot fashion creatives in the studio, fashion runways and a lot of portrait work. Understanding light and lighting helps make my shots with a phone turn out somewhat decently. But it's nothing close to what someone could do with a "real" camera.
Hoping your wife gives you a model release and distribution rights so you can post the shot(s) here. LoL We should get a thread going asking people from all over to wear their jerseys and favourite hosiery and heels and post 'em. C'mon Canada...let's represent!! Playoffs are only around the corner.
Speaking of...Honestly Michael, I give the Flames round 2 and gone in round 3. They don't seem to be able to win regular season games against higher ranked teams, lately. Not a good omen.

@Myles Ford Cheers Myles...It's a little hard to want to wear that jersey this year, though. The Flames won't be going far this year...post season is even doubtful given their most recent trend.
But i'll keep rockin the heels and hosiery when I go out for a pub night...I just won't be pairing them with a jersey. (this year)
