I am looking to buy this style of fabric for sewing projects. No matter how I describe it(glossy, shiny, etc.), Google never returns exactly what I am looking for. I can find plenty of 80s style 4 way stretch spandex that shines but I cannot find the material the items in these photos are made of. I own each of these items and the material is super glossy and very smooth, very lightweight and extremely thin, even sheer to a degree. The product descriptions explain it as is 70/30 poly/spandex or 90/10 nylon/spandex but no name of a specific unique fabric is ever named. Brands like Leohex, Sofsot, Mamatabushi and even Spanx(sort of) all use material like this. Is this fabric proprietary? Anyone have any ideas?
