  These were a just try but and I am glad to say they are fantastic truly silky and velvety feel with a slight understated shine . And I find that most pantyhose run at the feet area and these have a slight reinforced foot area and no toe band as it is situated under the foot.

  @scott j Those are designed for wearing with open toe high heel sandals.  That's why the toe band is placed underneath as well as the reinforcement and texture in the sole areas.  They're supposed to be invisible and prevent your feet from sliding forward in your heels so you don't encounter that hideous toe overhang that happens often in very high open toe sandal styles.  That's also why they are 10 denier...for hot uncomfortable weather and the practically invisible appearance from 10 feet away.  I've had a pair on hand brand new in the package for a couple of years but have yet to break them out.
